Meet Salewa T. Oseni, MD

Dr. Oseni, one of New England’s few oncoplastic surgeons, leads the team at Southern NH Medical Center and specializes in managing high-risk lesions. With oncoplastic surgery, women have the option of preserving their breast with a good cosmetic outcome even with larger tumors, typically preventing the need for additional reconstructive surgeries. She completed a surgical oncology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Meet Michele Annette Gadd, MD

Michele A. Gadd, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Visiting Surgeon at the Mass General. Dr. Gadd’s research activities have focused on improving the cosmetic results of treatment and on quality improvement in breast cancer care. Dr. Gadd works in a multidisciplinary breast cancer setting and participates in breast cancer related clinical research. She completed her Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Meet Nicolette McDonnell, NP

Nicolette works with patients and walks them through every step of a new cancer diagnosis from the biopsy process, pathology results, genetic testing, breast MRI and fertility consultations. In addition to patient care, Nicolette helps present newly diagnosed breast cancer patients to the center’s tumor board.

The deNicola Breast Health Center at Southern NH Medical Center provides the most advanced diagnostic technology, from 3-D mammography to breast MRI and biopsies. Women at risk for, or diagnosed with breast cancer are provided local, expedited access to Mass General’s leading cancer experts.

If confronted with a breast cancer diagnosis, patients can find comfort in knowing that Southern New Hampshire Medical Center is home to one of New England’s only breast cancer surgeons trained in surgical oncology and oncoplastic surgery. Dr. Salewa Oseni leads the breast cancer department, which is one of the few facilities in the region that offers immediate reconstruction and nipple sparing surgery.
